Managing Sudden Traumatic Loss
Join us for this FREE in-person training opportunity.
Despite all efforts to keep children and youth safe and healthy, tragic events happen. When such an event occurs, it is imperative that there is a planned postvention response and trained crisis responders. The response can either promote resiliency or hinder healing. The purpose of this training is to learn skills, recognize resources within the community, promote a framework for organizing reactions in the aftermath, and suggest practical strategies for management to reduce the negative impact of these events on youth and those who are associated with them.
Training takes place at Howell Township Municipal Building, 4567 Route 9 N, 2nd floor, Howell, NJ 07731. Registrants must be able to attend both days of the training.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
